FAMILY SITUATION  Orphaned at the age of six, she and her brother were separated and taken to different orphanages; she has not seen or heard from him since, nor has she ever tried to make contact.

HEIGHT  Five foot ten inches.
HAIR  Naturally, it's very fair, almost the colour of hay, and quite unruly in terms of curls.
EYES  A china blue colour. Very expressive when they want to be, and likely to betray her true emotions in the rare occasion that her guard is let down.
COMPLEXION  Milky, not prone to flush or tan, though very freckled; she tries her best to cover them up with makeup.
SCARS  At any given time, she's likely to have a good few littered across her stomach. ABILITIES  Extensive, by means of her training. Dottie is a master of quite a few things; martial arts, acrobatics, marksmanship, ballet. She’s an expert tactician, and makes for a highly convincing spy; she’s successfully fooled highly-skilled secret agents before, such as Peggy Carter. She’s also able to withstand the vast majority of torture techniques due to the extent and the harshness of her training. Pickpocketing is both a habit and a skill of hers.
FIGHTING STYLE  Notable for being nimble and precise. Even when at gunpoint, her speed and agility often allows her to disarm her opponent before they can even fire their weapon.
EQUIPMENT  She always carries a switchblade on her person, no matter where or when she is. Prefers a handgun, but she’s been known to use rifles before. TLDR; dottie’s not fussy when it comes to weapons. She’ll use whatever’s handy and available to her. Dottie has killed before just to acquire a shiny new toy.

TO NOTE. The program that Dottie was put through was a precursor to the Red Room, so she is not a black widow in the same way that Natasha, Melina, Yelena, etc. are. While there are similarities to their trainings and their background, they are far from identical.Dottie also has an incredibly warped view of the world, and especially what constitutes as fun. A big part of my characterisation of her is the very childlike element to be found in most of what she says and does, which is entirely due to her upbringing, or lack thereof. She’s not a good person, she doesn’t do good things or make good decisions. Hers is a very twisted perception of the world, and I want that to be made perfectly clear.

GENERAL.

I'm Meg, 22, she/they, Irish, a big ol' dyke. I have discord and am eons easier to reach and talk to on there, as Tumblr IMs are (quite frankly) the bane of my existence. I'm aware of the fact that I have more blogs than sense, not that it would be hard.

WRITING.

My writing and formatting styles are both simple and sparse, and I don't require my writing partners to match it; you do you, and I'll do me. I do use icons (albeit sparingly), and I tend to make use of the bold and italic tools, in addition to small text.I write with mutuals only, and am highly selective when it comes to deciding which blogs to follow.This is not coming from personal experience, it's simply a preemptive thing – I would just like to ask my writing partners and mutuals not to underestimate Dottie. She’s a highly intelligent, seriously well-trained and skilled assassin and spy. I won't be godmodding or anything, and I don't doubt if I ever am writing a combat/conflict thread I will be annoying you with messages about what's okay and what your muse would do next, but Dottie is a tricky person to best, so please don't assume anything and I'll do the same.

The themes of murder, indoctrination, violence, torture, death, war, and more will be mentioned with varying levels of frequency on this blog due to their significance in Dottie's story. I'll tag everything to the best of my ability, and if I ever slip up, I ask that you let me know so that I can rectify it as soon as I can.
